Our Team

Our team looks a little different than it did during the development of our first game- here are the old and new friends working on The Web Extends Further Out!

Lemon

Lemon is our fearless leader and our head writer! She's the reason Lands Beyond games exists. Lemon spends her days cackling evilly over bad ends and plot twists, blushing as she types up steamy romance scenes, and making chocolate chip pancakes for everyone who pulled all-nighters on her couch. A fun fact about her is she can sew! She used to make her own cosplays in high school.

Minty

Minty is our computer wiz and programmer! We all bow before her superior knowledge. She's even the one who made this website! Minty also dabbles in writing (when Lemon leaves her computer unattended). A fun fact about her is she owns two cats, Neptune and Uranus. And yes, she named them after Sailor Moon. And, yes, if you make a joke about Uranus' name she'll bite you. (Minty, or the cat? You don't want to find out...)

Olive

Olive is our art robot. Beep boop! She's graduated from background artist to CG artist, and drew every CG in the new game all by herself, as well as designing our new characters, so give her a round of applause! If you're ever bored, Olive always has an interesting story to share. A fun fact about her is she's the baby of our team (she started working on our first game when she was still in high school!) Also, she drew these profile pics!

Kiwi

Welcome Kiwi to our team! Lemon noticed her in an art class at college and brought her aboard to create beautiful all-new backgrounds for our games. She's also working on things like text boxes and menus, so we'll have something super unique instead of default! A fun fact about her is that her favorite manga is Magic Knight Rayearth. She wants to get a cosplay group together sooooo bad.

Cinnamon

Another new addition, Cinnamon is a man of many talents, notably marketing, placing ads, merchandise, scheduling, etc. Cinnamon loves to say things like "Have we reached our progress goals for the week yet?" and we say "Ummmm," and he frowns at us, and we say "By the way, what do you think about t-shirts?" as a distraction. Cinnamon is also an awesome artist, and drew the character sprites for the new game! A fun fact about him is that he can list every Pokemon.

Cherry

Our third new addition is Cherry, a real actual cat who can play the piano with her paws. Cherry was a mega-fan of our first game who sent us some fansongs she made up for characters, and we knew we had to invite her aboard! She's responsible for the beautiful soundtrack our new game will have, as well as all the little clicks and sounds you'll hear while playing! A fun fact about her is she's allergic to chocolate.
