Obviously a result of typing 'ocean' into the search bar; this made me say "ooOOoo" out loud at first sniff. i get a sweetness from it more than the anger the name would imply. evokes bright blues and pinks to me in an almost synesthesia-like way.
i dont want to pigeonhole myself into a particular scent, but if i had to wear one scent every day this would be a good choice.
SCENTS: "Moroccan Mint, Jasmine Tea, Guava, Basil, Ginger, Gunpowder Tea, Coconut Water, Eucalyptus, Vetiver"
Like walking through a delicious minty garden. subtle and natural. I've worn this one out a bit, it's more interesting than a 'normal' perfumey smell but not so Out There that im self conscious to wear it in public.
SCENTS: "creamed honey, wild honeycomb, beeswax, cedarwood, amber, musk, vanilla, basmati rice, brown sugar, woodsmoke, almond, oats, benzoin, acacia absolute"
it makes me feel like i am holding a pool of honey in my hands without worrying about the stickiness. Honestly I'm surpised to see any other notes in the list here, I'm sure they're there boosting and rounding out the scent but i kind of expected the only ingredient to be honeycomb. tasty and lush. I like this scent a lot!
SCENTS: "warm marshmallow, fresh farm cream, vanilla and muscovado sugar, crushed tonka bean, caramelized maple, bourbon"
the first time i wore sugar witch i walked away convinced that not only did it play bad with my skin chemistry but i was also allergic to it. the next time i tried it it smelled delicious. whats going on? raised from 1 to 3 hearts but no more than that, i dont trust it not to be bad again the *next* next time. A fickle creature...i didnt believe the thing about perfume smelling different on you at different times due to hormonal changes or whatever but it seems to be true?!?

Unimpressed on first try. I'm trying it again a few weeks later........ maybe it's my fault im not quite understand the journey it's trying to take me on.
SCENTS: "aging paperbacks buried under cardamom, dark vanilla, dry wood and sweet musk."
My mom described it as smelling "like the bathroom of a bookstore", and I was like ....urine scented ?? but she clarified no, no, I meant like the sink area with the soaps and stuff. Which is good, because I love this smell. It's a little mysterious and spicy.... I'd bought this specifically because I wanted some Old Books scent samples and at first I was disappointed it failed to do its job, but have no fear, you will get the old books if you give it a few minutes! This is another one where if I had to smell like one thing all the time I wouldn't mind it being this.
SCENTS: "white musk, mimosa, blonde woods and rice steam"
unlike the previous perfume this one is just straight up Old Books. nothing else happening: there is a book and its old. It's less wearable out and about than One due to this, but I cannot fault it for doing exactly what I wanted it to do! 10/10, exactly what it says on the tin.
SCENTS: "Honey, Beeswax, Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender, Clary Sage, Vanilla, Tonka Bean"
maybe I got a mislabled bottle or it was just my skin, but this was pure baby powder on me. smelled like i just changed a baby. i don't care for it. :/
SCENTS: "Egyptian jasmine absolute, honey extract, pollen, iris, myrrh, mimosa absolute, fresh cream, cedar, petrichor" in the bottle i actually disliked it but on me it became Delicious. not quite as foodlike to me as honeycomb calcite, but still soooo deeply honey. im really obsessed with this one. another onee i want to wear all the time.
SCENTS: "It is a lactonic (milk) unisex, layering fragrance with notes of bergamot, white musk and amber"
I had been excited for something subtle that just makes you mysteriously Smell Better without being too perfumey, but i dont super care for how milk smills on me :/ it isnt BAD, just.... not hugely into it. maybe i need to learn to layer it with other perfume correctly...
SCENTS: "jasmine sambac, cashmeran and solar notes; and a base note of white amber"
oooooo i wanted this one for the controversy. verdict: it's fine! ultra-powerful at first and suddenly falls off and disappears after a little while. smells like i've had the good fortune to visit somewhere fancy.

THAT'S ICE CREAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! literal exact recreation of strawberry ice cream 100%

There is a particular scent i get from perfume sometimes, walking past people in the street, or especially on the shelf of a discount store's imitation of...." collection of girly looking bottles, that makes me go absolutely heart eyes in love. this is the closest I've reached to that feeling on my journey so far, i think it might be the pear.

i love rihanna and i love ginger so i had to try this. i wanna give it a few more tries to have a fuller opinion but on first try its good and i like :) it pokes at a memory i cant quite place. i think i smelled something similar long ago.

they were not kidding, that scent can cold! makes your nose feel frozen. it's hard to say i like it, but the weather's been icky lately and its made me want to wear it. ive been trying to keep it to myself but accidentally wore it around other people last night and.... got complimented? huh? that all works nicely, then!
SCENTS: "Aether Accord, Metallic Accord, Power Source Accord"
certainly..... challenging. it feels like it should be doing damage to my brain to smell this. (Goes back for another sniff). if youre a computer might be a little like being smell naked, or like body odor a robot might have. the more its on the more i like it. it'll probably be a hard sell to others, but you never know....
id thought combining it with something sweet might help, but layering it with cloud created a POTION OF INSTANT NAUSEA unbelievably foul. as we squeak, i've got it on with Triton, and those two actually complement each other kind of well..... (maybe ???)

fascinating transformation from bitter to sweet! really becomes something else. herbal and interesting... i want to try it more to get more of a feel for it.
